Privacy Notice

This notice explains how MauritiusIslandCarRental.com handles information you provide when you use this website.

Updated October 2026.

Information We Collect

When you send a message through the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, topic selection and the text of your message. This information is stored in a private server log file outside the public folder so that the website operator can read and respond to your enquiry.

Do not submit payment-card numbers, CVV codes, passport details or other sensitive documents through the contact form.

The web hosting service may create technical access logs that record IP addresses, timestamps and requested page URLs for server operation and security purposes.

Third-Party Booking Widget

The search and booking functions on this website are provided by a third-party service operated by Localrent. When you search for availability or make a booking, your search criteria, contact details and payment information are handled by that service under its own privacy policy and the terms of the supplier named on your voucher.

This website does not store or process booking payments or personal data entered into the booking widget. Questions about how your booking information is used should be directed to the provider named on your voucher.

Embedded Resources

This website uses embedded Google Fonts. When you load a page, your browser sends a request to Google servers to retrieve the font files, and Google may log that request according to its own privacy policy.

No analytics service, tracking script or cookie banner is installed by this website build.

How We Use Contact Messages

Messages sent through the contact form are used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not share, sell or distribute contact-form submissions to other parties.

Your Rights

You can send a request to access, correct or delete a message you submitted through the contact form by writing to [email protected]. Include enough detail for us to locate your original message.

For requests related to booking data, contact the supplier named on your voucher, as that information is held by the booking provider and the supplier, not by this website.
